Boz Scaggs is 106.1 The Sound

This Sound artist was discovered in San Francisco by his neighbor and Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner.  He got his first BIG start in the music business playing guitar for The Steve Miller Band.
His studio session players in the 70’s went on to form Toto.  David Paich – Toto’s founder – co-wrote his biggest hit – Lowdown.  He had his greatest hits album featured in the cartoon show Family Guy as a birthday gift.  He and his wife lost nearly everything in the 2017 Napa Valley fires.  Born William Scaggs and given the nickname Bosley in high school, Boz Scaggs is 106.1 The Sound.
