Christopher Cross is 106.1 The Sound

This Sound artist got his start in the San Antonio-based band – The Flash.  Although he’s known for his smooth Yacht Rock vocals, he’s featured on guitar session work with Steely Dan and has toured playing guitar with Deep Purple.  He’s the only performer to win The Grammy Grand Slam.  Album of the Year. Song of the Year.  Record of the Year.  Best New Artist.  It’s reported he wrote Ride Like The Wind while high on LSD.  The rise of MTX is said to assist in his decline in popularity as Metal and Rap dominated the music channel.  His sound and look wasn’t best for a music video.  Christopher Cross is 106.1 The Sound.
