Marquette, MI – March 8, 2022 – This Sound group formed in the San Francisco Bay area and was widely known as the inventors of Yacht Rock. To this day they are headliners on the star-studded Caribbean Rock and Romance Cruise. Lead Singer Dave Jenkins went on to form the country band Southern Pacific and keyboardist Cory Lerios would write the theme to Baywatch and the audio logo for the CBS Network. They named the band after an easy-going friend, Pablo then added Cruise as it depicts that friend’s fun-loving attitude toward life. Pablo Cruise is – 106.1 The Sound.
