Ambrosia is 106.1 The Sound

This West Coast Sound Group was discovered by the Conductor of The LA Philharmonic Orchestra. The original group’s name was Ambergris Mite.   Their song Nice, Nice, Very Nice is based on Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle.  Holding On To Yesterday – their first big hit – was about the lead singer’s ex-wife.  Their style of music is often featured on shows and tours as Yacht Rock.  Their name is taken from variation of the typical fruit salad that features whipped crème.  Ambrosia is 106.1 The Sound.
