Peter Frampton is 106.1 The Sound

Before going solo, this sound artist was in the groups The Herd and Humble Pie.  Largely considered one of the worst movies ever, he played Billy Shears in Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.  He also had a cameo in the movie Almost Famous, as tour manager for Humble Pie, his former group.  You hear his guitar work on albums for David Bowie, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.  He appeared as himself on The Simpsons.  He was also part of Ringo Starr’s All Star Band.  Peter Frampton IS 1061 The Sound.
