This Sound Artist was born in Washington DC to a preacher and living in the projects. After leaving The Air Force, he joined the Chicago ‘Boy Band’ group The Moon Glows. He spent his early years as a drummer on Motown for The Supremes. He was so heartbroken when his duet partner – Tammy Terrell – passed away he almost quit music altogether. During that period, he tried out to be a wide-receiver for The Detroit Lions. His first wife – Anna – was the oldest daughter of Motown founder Barry Gordy.
