The Doobies are 106.1 The Sound
This Northern California group’s foundation was laid in the late ’60s by founding members Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons. When Johnston left, he was replaced in the mid ’70s when session vocalist Michael McDonald took over lead mic. McDonald was known for his harmony sessions with Steely Dan. After five decades and several incarnations, including Tom Johnston re-joining the group in the ’80s, they’ll join The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame this year.
The Doobies ARE – 106.1 The Sound.
