Brother Brian would write and produce to emulate Phil Spector’s “Wall Of Sound”. After Brian withdrew from public life while battling mental illness, Glen Campbell became the band’s lead singer. The Beatles acknowledged that their LP ‘Pet Sounds’ was the catalyst for their Sgt. Pepper’s landmark album. The movie Cocktail would resurrect their profile with the #1 title – ‘Kokomo’.
