After being threatened with a lawsuit for their name in their hometown, this ensemble was forced to shorten their title to avoid litigation. Their sound – like any other on the radio – made them unique. When their original lead singer was allegedly killed in a game of Russian Roulette, they hired a smoother singer who would enjoy a great solo career of his own. Huge hits in the 70’s led to a slump, with a resurrection coming in the early 80’s as their sound evolved to a much more subdued presentation. Chicago – IS 106.1 The Sound.
